Camera
For years, my trusted camera was the
Nikon FM - fully manual, rock-solid body,
just an all-around great piece of equipment. But with the
advent of digital photography, I finally realized it was
time to move into the future. I originally purchased a
Nikon D80 because I owned a couple of nice
Nikkor lenses, and had a long and successful history with
Nikon. But the camera never made it out of the box before I
changed my mind and purchased a
Pentax K10D. For the money (about the same
price as the D80), it is an amazing camera with features
that rival the Nikon D200 prosumer camera. Check out these

Software
Adobe
Photoshop Lightroom
This new
software (2007) from Adobe is amazing! Designed by
photographers for photographers, it has a quick learning
curve, is incredibly powerful, and has taken my photography
to a new level. Check it out, you won't be sorry. If you are
not a fan of Photoshop, don't worry, although it shares the
name it is a very different product. |
